Dear Colleague,
This is the first lesson on the Crusades. It aims to have students matching knowledge on the consequences of the Revolt and answering exam questions.
All lessons are interactively assessed and have the same structure to get the students taught in a coherent manner, help them understand where they are at, during the delivery:
LO 1:To understand the events of the first four crusades.
LO 2: To explain the reasons that pulled pilgrims to the Holy Land.
LO 3: To evaluate why it was important to control the Holy Land.
All tasks are assessed.
A very straight forward lesson.
The resources are at the end of the Power Point.
You might want to look at the other lessons, the previous set on Magna Charta and Thomas Beckett or the full unit on Crusades or Medieval events.
