In this unit of work Children will have the opportunity to explore primary and secondary evidence relating to the Windrush economic Migration. They will look at where the Caribbean is and compare it to the UK. Children will have the opportunity to use atlases to explore the route taken by the boat and the economic and social reasons around the migration. During the sessions, they will also look at the stories of people arriving, the work of the poet John Agard and produce art inspired by the mini topic.
