Winter Math Mystery Activity (GRADE 2)

Winter Math Mystery "Case of the Snowman Army" will get your students excited about reviewing some important math skills this season. "A terrifying army of snowmen are marching towards our city by the hundreds and could be at your doorstep before dawn if they are not stopped! The people of Mathhattan are hoping that a brilliant math detective will be assisting Larry the Wizard and the police to find the Ice Queen."

There are 5 clues to crack to solve the mystery:

- Clue 1: Comparing Numbers (Numbers between 1-100)
- Clue 2: Length Word Problems using Addition and Subtraction with the same units used in a question (Customary and Metric Options included)
- Clue 3: Adding Multiples of 10
- Clue 4: Even Numbers
- Clue 5: Addition and Subtraction (2-digit numbers, no regrouping)

Instructions, mystery story, awards, answers sheets and an elimination guide are also provided.
