Wonder - Activities for the Primary Classroom Connected to the Novel and Movie

These activities have been used with great success in P6 and P7 classrooms in Northern Ireland.
There is a clear focus on literacy , particularly in terms of persuasive writing , critical thinking (e.g. reviews),examining characters and the style of writing of the novel compared to how the story is told in film.
However thinking skills are looked at too in terms of diamond ranking and hot seating.
