Simple clues describing a word contained in the Word List for years 5 and 6 from the New National Curriculum 2015. Each clue describes a word, which pupils must spell correctly. Could be done in pairs or as a whole class activity on whiteboards.Develops pupils' spelling knowledge as well as their understanding of the meaning of the words. This contains a mixture of 20 words from the list.
