I started teaching Science and A level Chemistry in 1998. I am currently Head of Science in a very popular secondary school in Hertfordshire. It has always been a real interest of mine to challenge my students and to teach them science using innovative and novel approaches that allow them to have a greater understanding of the subjects covered.
This worksheets gives the formulae of some of the more common ions and their charges and requires students to find the right charges and combine them correctly to give the right formula.
