I am happy to update the existing review. I went by what Morissa76 wrote about there being an annotated pdf of all the poems. Obviously, we cannot see what are in the resources until we purchase them, therefore I had to give my review based on what I read and what I received. If there is a review (as is evident below) then we readers and purchasers will read those reviews and base our purchase on that, which is what I did. It is a lot that I paid for this resource, only to get those annotated poems, to be honest. I would appreciate it if I could get those seeing as I have paid for it based on the review that was left. I did read the description of the resource and the reviews, which is why I purchased this. Let me know how you can send me those annotated poems please.
If you're teaching this unit, don't hesitate - buy this very detailed SoW. I'm always very nervous of buying expensive items off TES, because the lack of previewing has, in the past, frequently led to disappointinment and money wasted. Not this time. Yes, it's pricey, but English teachers' time is precious! This really is 'out-of-the-box' ready to teach; it's going to save hours of work. I have a top set, but any differentiation can be done during the lesson itself. One of the best bits is the pdf file, which is a scanned version of an annotated copy of the entire anthology.
Very thorough and well thought out. A brilliant resource for teachers wanting to share a more inclusive poetry anthology. My only question is if there is a way to get the Comparison Plan as word doc for editing? Again, this is a fantastic and time saving resource. Thank you!
