4 x 1 hr class tests, each with an excerpt from a narrative (varied authors, allowing for emphasis on varied literary devices) and associated analytical and creative writing response questions.

The document is editable so that you can tweak timing, questions, marks allocated to each question, etc. You can use these as exam questions, in-class skills building lessons, and more.

In the Australian (NSW) context, I have used activities like these for yr 11 Reading to Write and HSC Craft of Writing units.
