This lesson give a brief insight into the lives of famous poets of WW1. In particular, it focuses on Siegfried Sassoon and his poem 'Does it matter?' Children are encouraged to identify trends in his poetry so they can write a poem in that style. This is aimed at Years 4/5/6. The poem should be planned on the planning sheets and then written up in books.
