This is the planning and slides for the unit I taught on fairground rides to a year 5 class.
The children were asked to create a model of a fairground ride that used electrical components.
We used motors and a pulley system to make the rides move.
The lessons are aimed at Year 5 but could be adapted easily for Year 6.
I have included links to the products I used and some videos I found on You Tube that helped me understand how to make the rides too.
