Pack contains 5 text extracts with questions attached. The questions tackle vocabulary, inference, retrieval, prediction, explanation and summary skills. This allows the children to be exposed to a range of different question types.
There is also a grid attached to allow the children to complete a ‘Read and Race’ element. I time my children for 3 minutes to use their skimming and scanning technique.
