A unit of DT work where the children design and create an Anderson Shelter whilst studying the WW2 period in History. They will explore the different pulley systems before deciding how to use/incorporate it within their own shelters i.e. they may create a well with a pulley system to draw water, a pulley operated door or a blind for the window etc. This product includes the following:

  • Cover Page with the objectives set out for the units to assess the work against.
  • Detailed Planning with the intent and outcome clearly defined
  • prompt sheets, tasks as well as some completed examples for the teachers to refer to
