A 19-slide PowerPoint presentation which starts with a Do Now activity covering German topics covered so far. It then introduces new “hobby” phrases (e.g. “I go into town”, “I listen to music” etc.) There is then a recap of what is meant by “conjugation” and a grid to fill in of sport/hobby regular verbs. It then introduces irregular verbs with another grid to fill in. After that, there are three listening exercises and then translations into English and into German. There is then a recap of using “gern”, “lieber” etc. in sentences and some practice of that in the first and third person - including a comprehension sheet. There is a recap of key facts before a writing exercise to put it together.

This is lesson 35 of many available for Year 7 (Y7) or first year German. Bundles available!

Everything (plus KS3 and KS4 German Knowledge Organisers and GCSE exam skill help sheets) is available from my shop.
