A 24-slide PowerPoint presentation which starts with a Do Now activity covering German topics covered so far. It starts by introducing 12 new items of “favourite” vocab (e.g. “favourite food”, "“favourite film”, “favourite subject” etc.) with a listening exercise, along with a recap of what a compound noun is. There are some comprehension activities to see the “favourite” vocab in action, and then information about saying “my”, “your”, “his” and “her”. It is followed by a writing activity for students to practise the new grammar. It ends with a tangled translation, in which students need to separate the German and the English and write both out fully. At the end is a recap of key facts.
