This unit is for Year ten AQA GCSE English Literature Students.
The poetry Anthology is based upon ‘Love and Relationships’ which is the AQA specification.
By the end of this unit students will have:
A set of 15 annotated poems using acronyms to explore the poems. AO1, 2 and 3.
Experience applying success criteria from the mark scheme, in relation to their target grades, to exam plans and answers.
Confidence when applying exam approaches and methods when working independently in exam timed conditions
Able to access key question words and apply scaffolds and writing frames to help support the production of comparative PEE paragraphs.
Practised developing original and evaluative reader responses.
To have relevant contextual information to support development of A03.
To have revision resources which will help in gaining high level.
