Year 2 – Learn COMPREHENSION with Aesop

This is a bundle of 3 stories from Aesop’s fables for Year 2 Comprehension.

I have found that Aesop’s fables are an excellent means of teaching comprehension because the students can visualize the characters in the Aesop’s fables and can create comic strips that will help them understand the fables.

There is an introduction on Aesop for Teachers and Parents.

Teachers can use these stories as classwork to teach or homework to assess if the students have learnt the skill of comprehension or need more practice.

The parents can use the short stories to gauge whether their children have understood the morals and are able to apply in their lives.
