Year 3/4 Instructions planning and resources. The unit is aimed at Year 3/4, but is set at a challenging level, so it may be suitable for older children too.

Lesson 8) Writing instructions for younger children.
Lesson 9) Classifying nouns as common, proper, collective or abstract.
Lesson 10) Writing a set of instructions on ‘how to brush your teeth’.
Lesson 11) Comprehension.
Lesson 12) Writing a set of instructions on ‘how to play a sport / game’.
Lesson 13) Using a range of connectives correctly.
Lesson 14) Writing a set of instructions on ‘how to get ready for swimming’.
