This Titanic flashback unit has saved me hours of planning. The model and innovated texts are beautifully written and pitched perfectly for Year 5/6. The grammar activities link directly to the writing outcomes, and the comprehension tasks are genuinely engaging. I especially loved the inclusion of the Widgit-supported version and vocabulary scaffolds – ideal for supporting my lower-attaining and EAL pupils.
