Year 5/ 6 SPaG test (Test one)

This is a test I created which will provide information in your children's progress in these upper KS2 targets:
1. Identifying and using the passive voice
2. Modal verbs
3. Identifying and using relative clauses
4. Using apostrophes for possession and contractions
5. Using commas for various reasons
6. Using hyphens for compound adjectives
7. Using semicolons and extending sentences with semicolons and related main clauses.

The test is out of 32 and is aimed to diagnose errors to aid future learning whilst also evidencing and checking children's current understanding.
The test comes with a marking scheme.
