Primary PSHE - Year 5 - Aspiration and Growth Unit
This 4-week scheme of work is taken from the EC Publishing Primary PSHE scheme.
Our progressive curriculum builds sequentially year-on-year, culminating in the Year 5 Aspiration and Growth unit, which deepens students’ understanding of personal development, career aspirations, and growth. Students will explore key concepts such as setting personal goals, understanding the link between manners, etiquette, and success, growing independence and responsibility, and reflecting on career choices that match their skills. They will also study the Equality Act, gender stereotypes, and the gender pay gap, linking these concepts to British values and workplace dynamics.
You can find the scheme of work here: Year 5 - Aspiration and Growth SOW
The unit includes the following lessons:
1. Courtesy and Manners
2. Success and Achievement
