Year 6 Arithmetic (2700 questions and answers)

I created this resource to address gaps in my Y6 class’s arithmetic knowledge.

This resource is a set of 45 questions (15 1-chilli, 15 2-chilli, 15 3-chilli) plus the answers for each question type found on the Y6 SATs arithmetic papers.

In total, the PPT is 181 slides and has 2,700 questions (plus the answers for each question).

I use this resource by teaching the question type that my class are finding difficult on the whiteboard, then giving them the 45 questions (3 difficulty levels) to practise independently. I have seen great progress from doing this as all of the questions have developed the children’s fluency skills.

I hope that you find this useful! It has taken many, many, many hours to make but it has helped to close many gaps, to address misconceptions and to help my class increase their speed in answering arithmetic questions.
