This is the first lesson in the maths section: Four Operations on Whole Number.
I have based this first lesson around reminding year 6 on place value and how to read and write numbers up to ten thousand. How to add and subtract, using place value and column method.

PPT: I have included a starter, main teaching points, white board work and an introduction into the next days work. Can be edited.

Worksheets: I have included a SEN/Low ability and a mid/High ability worksheet. These can be edited as they are on word.
