Year 6 SATs Practice Reading Paper: Romeo and Juliet

This resource is a practice SATs paper containing three texts and accompanying questions.

Included are:

• 1 fiction text (Romeo and Juliet)
• 1 non-fiction text (William Shakespeare)
• 1 poem (Prologue)
• SATs style questions on each text
• SATs style marking criteria, with content domain information

This test is designed to take 1 hour, including reading time.

This resource was designed to align as closely as possible to a real SATs test. The layout and questions are structured in a way that directly mirrors a real SATs test.
