Linked to the new National Curriculum. This task is designed to be suitable for different abilities - the green task is for fluency (stage 1), the orange is to show understanding/problem solving/reasoning (stage 2) and the red is for problem solving/reasoning linked to application in different contexts (the mastery/above) skills (stage 3). All answers are included. The children do the task linked to their ability but the previous task (skill) can be used to guide and scaffold learning of lower ability groups. The tasks are linked to using Visual Maths and Chris Quigley’s ideas of mastery.
