‘A Lamb to the Slaughter’ is a short story from Roald Dahl’s collected short stories ‘The Tales of the Unexpected’. Within this unit of work students are required to analyse writer’s techniques but also consider the experiences of the antagonist Mary Maloney as she slowly comes to terms with the homocide of her unfaithful detective spouse.
