They will also practise making inferences from the text to deepen their understanding of the characters and settings, using these insights to enhance their own writing. Activities will encourage pupils to draw conclusions from clues in the story and translate these ideas into their descriptive work. Adaptive tasks are included to ensure all learners can engage meaningfully with the objectives.
