Yr 1 Poetry 3 weekly planning & resources - Senses

This is three weeks' worth of planning on senses poetry, using a range of poems mostly taken from 'The Works 2'. I left this Unit for ages and did it in Spring 2. It probably ought to be done much earlier. The more interesting objects you can take in for the children to explore and describe the better. I was amazed by the range of adjectives they came up with for a simple honeydew melon!
