A yr5/6 3 week cycle of learning based on a Newspaper Report. Chn will write a report on the ‘attack’ of Buckingham Palace Guards that takes place in the book.
Chn will gather information in week 1 which they will be able to build upon in week 2 with their grammar skills before writing independently in week 3.
Grammar includes: direct speech, relative clauses, dashes, commas and brackets to mark parenthesis.
