Great resource
In this lesson, student learn how to plot straight line graphs by using a table of values. There is a sheet of questions that they can get straight into without having to draw out axes. In addition, there is a good question about investigating what happens if you switch the x and y values in an equation, which should lead to some nice discussions and discoveries! A nice activity which shows pupils how to plot a graph of a relationship in a more practical context. This could be done before or after doing it purely algebraically, allowing students to see the link between the maths and real-life.
Lesson on plotting graphs of two Car Hire companies and interpreting the shape of the graphs and what their 'features' actually mean. If you like this resource then please check out my other stuff on here!
