Check worksheet to make sure there are no mistakes in the questions. These were made during my PGCE year and I no longer teach so haven't rectified any problems, but I though I'd share. Made for Year 9 Set 2. Comments appreciated.

Good how it moves on to how to work out if a shape will tesselate which is ideal for my higher achieving SEND pupil. Thanks for sharing.
The designers of the classic game Tetris want to produce a more difficult version of the game. Can you help decide which shapes will fit together with no gaps? This is centred around interior angles of regular shapes and tessellation.

A really good investigation centre around the popular game Tetris and calculating the interior angles of Polygons. Great Idea. Thanks
Practice questions, homeworks and assessments
I set this as cover along with the powerpoint but you could equally use it in your lesson.

Thank you.
An activity for students to design a tessellation of carpet tiles for their bedroom. From the design they need to work out costs from screenshots of carpet tile prices, calculate the cost fo the glue. There are 3 levels to this task - from a basic bronze version to the gold version which includes an algebra extension related to cost of getting a carpet fitted. Very real world focus and some good discussion if you let the students use their own bedroom floor plans or students start to use part carpet tiles or use hexagonal tilings etc. Enjoy
