Arc length and sectors of a circle
Lesson presentations and activities
PPT I made to teach how to find the arc length and area of a sector to my Year 10s. Also looks at working backwards, given the area or arc length to find either the radius or the angle at the centre.

This looks like it is broken into clear easy steps which I will use the easier part to help explanations to a lower set year 10. Thank you for sharing.
I've made these to send home to parents and also to use in class (either independently or as a whole class).
Nothing special, just generates questions and answers to go with them.
You'll need to enable the macros for this to work.Reviews

A very good random question generator on areas of segments, which is differentiated into three types of question. This would make an excellent starter, or as the author suggests, be useful to send home for students to practice, as there are solutions provided.

Practice questions, homeworks and assessments
This resource is based on Mr Barton Maths convince me resource. The pupils have to find the 5 incorrect question/answer and explain why? Answer 3 question shown by ? 10 questions are correct. As some of my pupils need work on unit conversion some questions need the units changing as all the answers are in cm's. I have also added a template if you want to change the numbers. All feedback is very welcome. Hope you find it helpful.

A lovely activity to practice find arc lengths - including the useful part with units, you never can be too careful! Many pupils would easily overlook these especially in the style of question that asks about the mistake or if they're correct. Thank you!
Ideal for GCSE revision, this is one of a collection of worksheets which contain exam-type questions that gradually increase in difficulty.
These review sheets are great to use in class or as a homework. They are also excellent for one-to-one tuition and for interventions.
