Thank you-clear and straightforward just what I needed.
Using co-operative learning strategies I set up these 4 stations for pupils to rotate round. The fourth can be found on tes: Discovering-Pi-and-Circumference-Activities (the red/amber/green worksheets).
For the playing cards activity: give pupils pack of cards and they can deal out cards/cut the deck/etc. and then answer the corresponding question on the sheet.
The ‘connect thoughts’ task is adapted from another tes resource.Reviews

A bit of a classic this one. What would happen if we could put a rope around the Earth and then put an extra metre of slack rope in? How high could we pick the rope up?
Worked through carefully and with notes for the teacher to consider discussion points.Reviews

A classic problem with some great extra thoughts.
Practice questions, homeworks and assessments
Along with the Area of a circle worksheet, this was created for a Foundation GCSE class. It progresses nicely and finishes with some challenging problems at the end borrowed from MEP.
