Excellent
Starts with a literacy task that builds on previous knowledge of constructing triangles. Pupils are then given instruction cards in teams and they must be able to complete all 5 constructions and become an 'expert&' in one area. Pupils must then complete more challenging questions which are colour coded by difficulty. Students end on a back to back with one person explaining and one person constructing the angle. Tutorials included if needed for a teaching episode. Mainly not my resources but collated from other areas and I thank the people whose resources I have used.

Very Useful.
Pupils learn how to estimate square roots of numbers using only a pencil, ruler and a pair of compasses. Originally discovered by Rene Descartes, it is based around Pythagoras' Theorem (a proof is included in the powerpoint). If you like this resource then please check out my other stuff on here! :)

Fabulous resource.
Practice questions, homeworks and assessments
Made this for my Year 8s so they could complete the constructions as we went through each one, then stuck it in their books for future reference. Includes step-by-step guides to each construction. Covers perpendicular bisector, angle bisector, perpendicular from a point on a line, perpendicular to a point from a line, and construction of 30, 45, and 60 degree angles. Really handy revision tool for them.
