Great resource! I have corrected the typos (Tan examples) but this has saved me lots of time. Thanks!

Apart from the 3 mistakes, this ppt is perfect for teaching
A series of 4 lessons introducing trigonometry ratios and solving these styles of problems.
Completed in one week, the following week used to explore exam-style questions and consolidating the class skills further, incorporating Pythagoras.
Lesson 1 - Labelling triangles and identifying which ratio to use.
Lesson 2 - Calculating missing sides.
Lesson 3 - Calculating missing angles.
Lesson 4 - Consolidation of skills.
Each lesson has differentiated tasks, alongside prompt material that was displayed around the board for the full week. Pupils were encouraged to use these throughout.
Task for Lesson 4 (Challenging) taken from MathsWatchVLE.
Support tasks for this lesson from MathsBox.

This is a unit of work I have made on basic trigonometry for a high ability Year 10 group. This unit includes:
- Trigonometric Ratios
- Using Sine, Cosine and Tangent to Calculate Sides and Angles
- Solving Problems involving TrigonometryReviews

Thank you so much!
This is a PPT I made on Trigonometry for my Year 10s. It goes right from the basics of SOHCAHTOA through angles of elevation and depression, Trig in 3D to area of triangles, the Sine and Cosine rules. Included are a couple of worksheets I made to use to support the PPT.

thank you for sharing this!! ^_^
This takes students through six matching activities, three on finding sides and three on finding angles. Designed to create discussion and to be used as a starter/plenary but use how you wish if you choose to download it.

A great resource looking at trigonometry in a different way, this is definitely a purposeful practise task if ever I saw one. Students are required to match answers to questions, and work out an answer to a question that has no matching answer. Thanks for sharing!
This is a resource for consolidation of Pythagoras and Trigonometry. Useful as a quick starter or revision exercise, it can also be used to embed learning before tackling more interesting problem solving questions.
The file is a macro enabled worksheet, and you will need to enable macros in excel before it will work, https://support.office.com/en-gb/article/Enable-or-disable-macros-in-Office-documents-7b4fdd2e-174f-47e2-9611-9efe4f860b12
The Menu button allows you to select the question types available, and the Answers button displays the solutions.
Note: The diagrams are *not* to scale!Reviews

Excellent resource that is great for interleaving combinations of sin/cos/tan and Pythagoras together. Promotes students selection the method rather than repetition of the same type of question. Sets them up nicely for problem solving with bearings/area/etc
