Easy to follow and I like the links to real life, but it does imply that we "move the decimal point", which is not Mathematically correct.

Excellent resource, thank you so much for sharing!
Students answer the questions on standard form then try to solve the catchphrase hidden behind the grid. Questions include writing numbers in standard form or as ordinary numbers, and multiplying/dividing numbers in standard form.

Practice questions, homeworks and assessments
Clive has made some silly mistakes on his standard form homework. Your students' task is to check, correct and explain where he's gone wrong. These are typical errors I've experienced in teaching and are designed to create discussion.

Thank you for publishing your resource. It has been selected to be featured in a new secondary maths collection.
There are six spiders to do: two on reading and writing numbers in standard form, two on multiplying and dividing and two on adding and subtracting. Each is designed to be a bit more difficult than the last with some opportunities for discussion.

Ideal for GCSE revision, this worksheet contains exam-type questions to review a students understanding of Standard Form. This sheet contains the straightforward questions, but I will include harder problem-type questions in the sheet ‘Standard Form 2’.
These review sheets are great to use in class or as a homework. They are also excellent for one-to-one tuition and for interventions.
For similar-style revision sheets on other topics, click 👉 tes.com/../more...
Answers are included, as is a NEW STYLE of PowerPoint, which allows individual questions to be selected for enlarged display onto a screen. The answer can then be worked out ‘live’ by the teacher (or student) or a single click will reveal my solution. This not only helps in class, but it is also very useful for a student who is revising at home 😀.

It would've been better if they had word problems for standard form.
