Great little starter on ratio. Each question comes with four multiple choice answers and then the correct answer is revealed. Could be used in a group/team competition.

    Practice questions, homeworks and assessments

    • This worksheet requires students to share in ratio using the fraction of a number method (as opposed to add, divide, times) but can be done either way. The questions progress to harder ratios and then worded questions. Also a plenary on sharing one amount in different ration and matching them up. Either print it out or use on the IWB.

I have used ratio robberies for all year groups, the pupils love it. This looks like it will be better for Y7 and 8; due to the super hero aspect. Thank you for sharing.

    • Rubbish name, I know, but I was void of linguistic creativity when I made this. A ratio activity with an end point - practise your ratio skills to find out who serves the longest time in prison. (Re-uploaded 22/01/2013. Found an annoying grammatical error in the body of text!)
