This piece has great flexibility with regard to number of players and instruments available: Parts can be doubled or trebled (or more) and some parts can be clapped only, if instruments are lacking. A longer arrangement is also easy to produce by simply making some parts tacet whilst others play, then reverse parts or chop and change. Also, if your dusty music dept. cupboard does not (shock) include a Sitar, pair of Tabla or any of the more specialised instruments, don’t panic!
