This Bingo game is a great game to familiarize students with a variety of helpful and unhelpful coping skills. This is a great game for individual, small group or even whole class activities. This game is the perfect supplement to your SEL lessons. This bingo game includes the following unhelpful and helpful coping skills: Counting, have a drink, bounce on ball, happy thoughts, hug favourite toy, stress ball, go for a walk, play play-doh, read a book, talk to someone, write it down, refuse to work together, pushing others, giving up, bossing others around, not listening, kick things, kick someone, tantrum, destroy property, throw items, using swear words and telling lies. HOW TO PLAY The caller reads the bingo card, and the players identify whether they have that card on their BINGO mat. This social narrative encourages the sleeping practice in the child’s own bed. Each individual step of a nighttime routine is included from stop playing, brushing teeth, going to the toilet, putting pyjamas on, doing a bedroom check and checking the night light. This resource is heavily supplemented with clear, colourful and detailed visuals to aid understanding. In addition, supplementary material is included to reinforce learning. This includes: 1 page “Sleeping in My Own Bed” Poster (8 steps) Sleeping in My Own Bed Checklist (Skill Development/Acquisition Program) My Bedtime Routines (cut/paste/sort activity worksheets) NOTE: This story additionally includes a page (which can be omitted should it not be relevant) where it describes a gradual transition process of a parent sleeping in the same room (but on a trundle) and slowly moving their bed away from the bedroom over time. This 11 page Speech Therapy Resource has been developed specifically for supporting students to utilize functional communication. This program includes the following two activities: Activity One – Snakes and Ladders – The purpose of snakes and ladders is to teach the student to use functional communication strategies or talking tips to help others understand their communication. Activity Two - Talking around a word – The goal is to support the student to be able to “talk around” or describe a word when they are having word-finding difficulties or that they do not know the word that they are after. I have Who has Card Game - Money and Counting - Life Skills Autism Visuals SPED

This is a great card game to help introduce and reinforce learning about money and counting amounts. HOW TO PLAY 1.Simply pass out the cards to all the players individually. 2.Encourage everyone to sit in a circle. 3.Pick one player to go first. 4.They are to read one of their cards. For example “I have 5 dollars. Who has 2 dollars?” 5.The next person who has the 2 dollars card reads their card and so forth. 6.Play continues until all of the cards are read. 7.If you want to make this more challenging, you can time the game and see if you can break your own record! Simply cut, laminate and keep these cards for a long time! There are a total of 24 cards. This is all about making learning about money fun!
