Over 60 colourful, fun and engaging visual supported clip cards to support students understanding of punctuation. Students are encouraged to read the sentence on each card (which is supported by a visual cue), then determine the correct use of pronunciation and place a peg or clip on the correct answer. There are a total of 60 cards with three punctuation options : full stop, exclamation mark and question mark. An additional extension activity is to discuss and reflect on how using alternative pronunciation can change the entire meaning of the statement. Students are encouraged to use clothes pegs to identify the right answer. An alternative can be to use a white board marker or simply point. These are great for young learners including preschool, kindergarten, students with autism and special education needs. Print and laminate these cards and you will be able to use them for years to come! Speech Therapy Made Easy! Children who have difficulty with speech and articulation would benefit from this set. These may include children with apraxia of speech, autism, Down Syndrome and severe phonological processes would benefit from these cards. There are over 160 cards and will also help in building up the students vocabulary. There are two buckets included at the end of the set. The first bucket can include the articulation cards which have been able to be successfully completed and the second bucket is for the articulation cards that might need a little bit more practice. When the students see that eventually their ”successful” buckets get full, this will help build upon their sense of achievement. The objectives of this portfolio is to facilitate dialogue which is important during the healing process. This workbook specifically designed for teenagers and adolescents and has been developed utilizing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy principles. This workbook primarily focuses on emotions, behaviours, anger management and self-care. Students with anger management difficulties often represent a significant number of referrals for school counselors. They are often referred because they are internalising their anger (depressed, socially withdrawn) or the majority are externalising their anger by demonstrating behavioural concerns. Whether students internalise or externalise anger, supporting them to learn healthy ways to express and cope with their strong emotions. This workbook provides practical strategies to help them recognise the signs of anger and develop better ways to cope and express their anger. This book contains educative material to support students to gain insight into their behaviours (including triggers, thoughts and associated feelings) as well as hands on activities and exercises. Speech Therapy Made Easy! What does this set include: This set includes 68 cards which include a variety of “R” Controlled Vowels which are broken down by sound nor spelling. Examples of these words include: “ar” – car, farmer, scar “air” – airplane, blueberry, pear “ei” – bird, circle, feather “ear” – bird, circle, feather “ire” – fire, iron, pliers “or” – core, corn, popcorn Who would benefit from using these cards? Children who have difficulty with speech and articulation would benefit from this set. These may include children with apraxia of speech, autism, Down Syndrome and severe phonological processes would benefit from these cards. These cards would even help in building up the students vocabulary. There are two buckets included at the end of the set. The first bucket can include the articulation cards which have been able to be successfully completed and the second bucket is for the articulation cards that might need a little bit more practice. When the students see that eventually their ”successful” buckets get full, this will help build upon their sense of achievement. Assembly Instructions: Simply print on paper, laminate if desired and cut the articulation cards. REMEMBER…. This creative and printable board game has been developed to provide a foundation which explores puberty, relationship, sexuality & protective behaviours. “Next Steps” has been developed for an equal opportunity for role modelling, education and learning from other responses. This game supports self-expression, enhancement of self esteem and confidence and brainstorming alternative behavioural and interactional choices and actions. The questions provided encourage participants to reflect of their choices and actions around their behaviours and explore and process their feelings and emotions.
