This is a Year 7 lesson which focuses on how water enters a river, by studying a river’s drainage basin. Included in this lesson is a PowerPoint which outlines the lesson and includes the key tasks, including an extension task. At the end of the PowerPoint there are resources which can be printed and laminated to support the lesson. There are differentiated worksheets included in this pack for LAP, MAP and HAP students which are ideal for teaching mixed ability classes.
