There are TWO different activity sheets and TWO versions of each. These are designed to suit different ages/abilities.

There are TWO versions of the first activity sheet. They are THE SAME except for the way the students access the internet to obtain the answers. One uses clickable links to the sites containing the answers, and the other, QR codes.
This activity sheet contains SIX questions about the life and music of the composer.
An ANSWER sheet is also included!
Depending on the technology available to you in your classroom, the student(s) will click on the links provided OR use a QR reader app to scan the QR code. (The QR reader app I use is I-nigma. It is a FREE download in iTunes, and I have never had any problems with it.
Students are to read the information on the website/s to find the answer the questions.

Students will research FIVE-SIX facts about the composer and record them in the graphic organizer. They will then write an informative paragraph about the life and music of the composer.
Ideal for differentiation in your classroom!

Each music math worksheet has a summer image for the student to colour.
The resource contains:

This file contains SIX class activities to add to your World Music Unit
♫ ACTIVITIES 1 - 4
Students are given a list of 27 world music instruments.
Their task is to research the instruments in the first column to find their country of origin next to it, in the second column.
In the third column, students must categorize the instruments as either:
chordophone,
aerophone,
membranophone or
idiophone.
This activity is repeated but with only 22 instruments and a list of countries for the students to choose from.
♫ ACTIVITY 5 is a Wonder word puzzle containing 27 world instruments.
♫ ACTIVITY 6 World Instrument LISTENING Activity. Students listening to a clip of ten different world instruments and complete the information table.
♫ A table containing a LINK to a video clip for each of the 27 instruments to accompany Activity 6.

Good King Wenceslas: Easy Guitar Duo
This is an easy arrangement of the popular Christmas tune, for beginner guitar duo.
Part 1 has the melody
Part 2 plays a counter melody.
First time through the two parts are mostly playing note for note rhythm. On the second time through Part two is developed to contain 8th notes in the rhythm.
The zipped file contains:

This arrangement will help to build listening skills, rhythmic accuracy and general confidence in ensemble playing, which are essential to all musicians.. and will be a great concert piece for the Christmas season.
Jingle Bells Guitar Trio: easy guitar arrangement
This arrangement of the well known Christmas tune Jingle Bells is for a guitar trio.
It is the CHORUS only; not the verse and is 22 bars in total.
Parts 1 and 3 are very suitable for beginner guitarists.
Part 2 could be played by a more advanced student or you the teacher!
The chord symbols are included on the score so a fourth guitar or a piano accompaniment could be added if desired making the arrangement very flexible.
This is an excellent way to introduce and involve beginners in the joy of ensemble playing.
