This lesson bundle covers the content for the Year 7 AQA KS3 Activate 7.2.3 The Earth lesson, in two formats- classroom based lesson presentation and digital worksheet Ideal for distance learning or covering missed content after absence. Students work through a variety of tasks to develop their understanding of why the Earth experiences days, nights, and the seasons. Aimed at a mixed ability Year 7 class. 1.Classroom based presentation- Bell work activity Lesson objective and success criteria Information slides Challenge activities (group work) Practical activity (where appropriate) Demonstrate understanding tasks (with answers) Please note worksheets from scheme are not included due to license. 2.Digital worksheet- Teacher guidance and answers Engage- Links and ‘Big Question’ to engage students at start of lesson Explore- Links to articles, video clips, virtual labs, and simulations for students to explore. Explain- Embedded Google Slides™ presentation (includes lesson objectives, information slides, self-assessed questions).
