Hello! Thanks for viewing my shop. I've been teaching now for over 10 years and was a teaching assistant before that. I'm currently teaching Year 3/4 but have taught in EYFS, Year 1 and 2, & Yr 6. I've worn many hats during my teaching career and I'm now deputy head of a small but ever growing successful first school! I love creating resources that can be used to capture and engage the children in my class that allow them to really enjoy their learning. Please get in touch and leave feedback!

I use this resource in my class to remind my Year 3/4 children of my expectations during any writing task. They are great for quickly showing differentiation or just for reminding the children of what is expected of them . I love using the ‘check your writing’ bookmark as it gives the children a check list of what to look for! This resource includes: 3 differentiated writing book marks (ranging from Year 4 expected, Year 3/4 developing and E.O.Y 2 expectations for my lowers). 1 bookmark to remind how to use speech in writing. 1 bookmark to remind children of what to check in their writing. I have included the word doc so you can add/takeaway criteria. I hope these are useful and help your children with their writing. Many thanks.

This resource includes one template and one complete Year 2 common misconception words board game for up to 4 players. It’s A3. I’ve been struggling to engage my Year 3 class into learning their tricky words so came up with this. When a child’s playing piece lands on the circle they must write word in a sentence. Feel free to edit the words to suit your class. Hope this helps.

Place value, subtraction & adding Fluency and mastery with critical thinking USA Grade 3/4

Hi, This resourse focus on allowing the children to engage in key critical thinking skills and practice their skills in place value, adding and subtracting. The 20 questions vary from asking the children to Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction and reading and writing numbers to 1000 using base-ten numerals and number names. I’ve included a word version so you can edit the questions to suit the needs of your class. Here’s some suggested ways to use this resource. Cut them up and laminate them- place them on the tables and ask your pupils to collaboratively solve them. Stick them in the children’s books and get them to answer them. After the children have solved a few ask them to place them in order of difficulty - ask them why and what they found most difficult. Thanks for buying this resource and I really hope that it helps your class with their learning.

Hi, Thanks for viewing this resources. It is 100% editable and contains mastery plus fluency and reasoning style questions. Included in this resource: 5 pages of questions and 2 worksheets. Interactive smartboard which contains quiz style slides and drag and drop activities. Works well alongside plickers. Hi, thanks for viewing. Here is a series of 4-5 lessons that cover place value. Over 80 slides. The slides support the teaching of mastery by starting with basic concepts and taking all the class with you as the tasks get trickier. These tasks are designed for children to use practical equipment to support their learning. The lesson activities include true or false Q’s, individual tasks, guess the number an build, connect four and many more. We have recently introduced double maths sessions with a break splitting them, this has given us time to embed concepts and use the correct vocab. It has also allowed the children to discuss Maths at length and these slides support this. You can use this as a 1-2-1, small intervention or whole class resource. You van change the sequence of sessions but I’ve created them so that they build upon skills and hopefully link together :) I hope that you find this resource useful. Many thanks

This resource can be used to measure angles and identify them. You can use it in many ways. Cut them out and stick them in the children’s books. Cut them out and use them on tables and as a carousel activity. I’ve used them on tables and placed post it notes and cups with each angle. The children measure/name and then write answers on post its and pop them into the cups. I hope that you find this resource useful. Many thanks

I’ve created this resource to help teach my class historical facts about life in the trenches during World War 1 (The Great War). There are 8 tasks for the children to complete using Minecraft. Some tasks have smaller, mini tasks within. This resource is perfect to use to aid and support your teaching of the computing curriculum and uses gaming as a tool to emerse the children in WW1. Each slide has a fact/stat to help increase the children’s knowledge. I’m using this activity to help enrich my classes writing where we will be writing a letter from the trenches. I hope that this resource helps your class. Many thanks
