Positive Self-Talk Task Cards
Positive self-talk is not taught; it is practiced. With this resource, students will encounter everyday situations that encourage positive self-talk. Creativity and resourcefulness will empower them to make confident decisions and boost their self-esteem.
These scenarios will help children open their minds to alternative ways of thinking and address a very important person in their lives: themselves.
You’ll be amazed to discover the prevalence of negative self-talk at such a young age, including body shaming. At the same time, you will see how your students train and practice using positive ideas.
The resource includes two sheets of paper for children to write their answers and a blank sheet for them to choose a few cards each day or week.

Este recurso describe maravillosamente por qué nuestros abuelos ocupan un lugar tan importante en la vida de nuestros niños. Capta la sabiduría, las enseñanzas, el amor y la devoción que los abuelos dan a sus nietos.
Enviar esta tarjeta a casa es un regalo que los abuelos apreciarán para siempre, un gesto sincero que les proporcionará una inmensa alegría y orgullo.
Anima a tus estudiantes a reconocer y valorar lo afortunados que son por tener a sus abuelos. Para aquellos niños que no tengan abuelos, pueden crear una tarjeta para alguien que desempeñe un papel similar en sus vidas, alguien que les llene de amor, sabiduría y les ayude a fortalecer los lazos familiares, conectando a toda la familia.

This card is the perfect tribute that our grandparents deserve, filled with love, emotion, and gratitude. It beautifully portrays why our grandparents hold such a significant place in the lives of our children. It captures the wisdom, teachings, love, and devotion that grandparents give their grandchildren.
Sending this card home serves as a gift that grandparents will cherish forever, a heartfelt gesture that will bring them immense joy and pride.
Encourage your children to recognize and value how fortunate they are to have their grandparents. Children who may not have grandparents can create a card for someone who plays a similar role in their lives, someone who fills them with love, wisdom, and helps strengthen family bonds, connecting the entire family.
Directions: Print the cover and the three pages to build the card of your choice. In the case of having only one of the grandparents, print only the grandpa’s cover or the grandma’s cover and leave the remaining pages the same.

Estos llamativos brazaletes concienciarán a los niños, a toda la escuela y a sus familias sobre la importancia de la igualdad, el respeto y la justicia de género. Estos brazaletes simbolizan el trabajo colectivo y el esfuerzo que realizamos para promover la igualdad y el respeto entre géneros.

Instrucciones:

Perfect bracelets to promote and celebrate gender equity in the classroom. These eye-catching bracelets will raise awareness among children, the entire school, and their families about the importance of equality, respect, and gender justice. These bracelets symbolize the collective work and effort we put forth to promote equality and respect between genders.
Students can proudly wear these bracelets year-round, as a symbol of their commitment to treating each other with respect and fairness. It is a rewarding and motivating tool to promote gender equity in the classroom or school!
Instructions:
For bracelet number one (heart shape), ask the children to cut out the bracelet. Carefully, cut the slits to the dotted line. Wrap the bracelet around the wrist and slide the two decorative ends together to secure the bracelet in place.
For bracelets numbers two and three, you only need to carefully cut, decorate, and wrap the bracelet around the wrist.

This craft helps children recognize that true heroes are the individuals who carry out their daily jobs, and that the most heroic act is to provide help and service to others.
Children will have to think about the powers, qualities, and goals they will need to build in the future to help their community. You will be impressed by their ideas, dreams, and purposes.
Through listening to and reading the works of their peers, children can develop an understanding of the significance that each community helper holds in one another’s lives.
Let’s encourage our children from a young age to dream about the countless ways they can make a positive impact on others and experience the joy that accompanies such actions.
Decorate your classroom with these wonderful real-life heroes; they will not go unnoticed!
Instructions: Ask your students to draw a picture of themselves as the community helper they want to be when they grow up. They should then complete the back of the cape. When they are finished drawing, coloring, and writing, cut out along the dotted line and glue the cape to the back of the body.
