In this activity, students match a particular quotient to another quotient with the same solution. As they find the matching answer, they place a letter from the answer bank into the appropriate box to uncover a joke.
Because of answer banks for students and answer sheets for adults, this activity is great for homeschool and special ed students too!

It is a riddle worksheet where students have an answer bank and they use that to solve a (slightly cheesy) joke. Kids like this activities because they make the math meaningful, and FUN, and teachers like them because the answer bank gives students a tool to self-assess.

In this activity, students must do some thinking and decide whether each rule is a function or a relation. Answers are not obvious, but answer sheet is included. The objective is to get kids thinking about the difference between a relation and a function.
This bundle includes 9 different items that review polynomial operations. It is NOT meant as a comprehensive unit on polynomials, but for an upper level math course, this has plenty of review materials and refreshers.
It includes:
1.) Polynomial Graphs
2.) Factoring Trinomials (with a leading coefficient)
3.) Factor by grouping
4.) Polynomial Division
5.) Factoring Cutout
6.) Polydoku (factoring/division)
7.) Rational Expressions Cutout
8.) Sum/Difference of Cubes
9.) Polydoku challenges

In this activity, students match different polynomial functions to their graphs. They must understand leading coefficient, degree and end behavior to do this.
This bundle includes 4 different joke/riddle activities that review solving equations (with more advanced operations like roots and exponents). As a BONUS, I decided to throw two worksheets totally free! The bundle includes:
1.) SAT style Equations
2.) Ratios, more SAT style Equations
3.) Solving Equations with Advanced Operations
4.) Solving more equations with Advanced Operations
5.) Finding the Equation of a Line between 2 Points
6.) Systems of Equations Cutout Puzzle
The first 5 are riddle worksheets where students have an answer bank and they use that to solve a (slightly cheesy) joke. Kids like this activities because they make the math meaningful, and FUN, and teachers like them because the answer bank gives students a tool to self-assess.

These 10 Multiple Choice questions cover volume of cubes, cones, spheres and other 3D shapes. Each question contains a graphic, which helps students picture the problem better. The answer sheet has a key that tells the teacher the answer to each question, the most common trap answer and the level of difficulty for each question.
This worksheet is great practice for vertical and horizontal shifts, along with rotations about points for quadratic functions. The multiple choice handout is perfect for ACT, SAT or State Achievement Test preparation. Each question includes 10 questions, each coming with at least 1 trap answer. A great way to differentiate this activity is to have higher skilled students identify and justify each trap answer.
This is a great activity for students to learn about number systems, exponents and Mayan numbers. The Mayans used a place value system, just like ours, except with base-20 instead of base 10 (they counted with their fingers and toes).
This activity is a great way to introduction polynomial division and factoring. Students view a problem as a puzzle. Instructions are given on the sheet, answer sheet included.
This activity is a cutout puzzle for factoring rational expressions. Students match up a rational expression with its equivalent in simplified form and put the pieces of the puzzle together.
This activity requires NO PREP, student and teacher documents included.
It is a cutout where students must match a system of equations to its solution and complete the puzzle. Once the puzzle is completed, a number on each tile is translated to the letter it represents in the alphabet (i.e. 1=A, 4=D etc.) to uncode a hidden message.
Student and teacher versions are included. Also there is a difficult and easy version.
Some systems should be solved using substitution, some should be solved using elimination.
