Times Table Quizzes As Google Forms; multiplication facts. V2

(0)
This document has links to Google Forms to help you assess student progress in learning the times tables (multiplication tables). There is 1 quiz per table. There is a quiz (form) for tables 0 - 12. Students must type in the answer (they are not multiple choice). The intent is to let you do frequent assessments of the class and individual students’ progress using a self-correcting Google Form that will automatically enter grades into Google Classroom. You can view overall statistics and per-question statistics. You may copy and edit these as you wish (e.g., eliminate facts your curriculum doesn’t need). As of May 2 2024, we’ve changed the default to shuffle the question order for each student and every time they take it. But, you can turn off shuffle in the Form’s settings if you wish. Either way, the number of students who get a given fact correct (not the question number) will be displayed in the per-question statistics and in the worksheet. Here’s a demonstration of how to get the Forms and use them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Hoo7fcmddU We provide links to a shared folder which contains Google Slides that can be presented in class as a way to review the worksheet or shared electronically with students (e.g., downloaded as a PowerPoints and email, or share a link in your Google Drive). 16 Kahoot Quizzes for Times Tables / Multiplication Facts. V2

This document has links to 16 quizzes in Kahoot to help you assess student progress in learning the times tables (multiplication tables). There is 1 quiz per table, and 3 summary quizzes that contain content from multiple tables. You may duplicate then edit these as you wish. We suggest that you select options to make the order of the cards random. Many students enjoy the game-like format. You can track how well each student is doing in the “reports” section after the quiz. These are free (although you will need to be a subscriber to Kahoot), fully functional and never expire. You can use these in live group sessions during a class, or assign them as homework for individual completion. Here’s a demonstration of how to get these quizzes into your Kahoot library: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WquIHv8I0w We provide links to a shared folder which contains Google Slides that can be presented in class as a way to review the worksheet or shared electronically with students (e.g., downloaded as a PowerPoints and email, or share a link in your Google Drive).
