Students are to use the questions and prompts on the next slide to analyse the Milk Tray advertisement. Please feel free to use/adapt, however, please use a review! Thank you

KS3 Art Cover Lesson: Design a shield for Cardiff Castle

(0)
A great resource if you need a quick cover lesson for Art at KS3. The power-point is only basic but it can be further developed. The aim of the lesson is for students to design a shield to be hung at Cardiff Castle. They have a ‘live’ fake brief whereby their shield needs to represent Welsh Culture and Identity. I created the shield on photoshop. There are x3 versions for the students to select from and I got these printed onto A4 or A3 cartridge. For a cover lesson you may just want to print it on normal paper. At KS3 students already have a welsh culture and identity project so I have attached the visual aids which support students. They also look at a range of illustrators such as Quinton Blake etc. Students use fine liners and colouring pencils to create their illustrations.
