Pocket money To go alongside AQA Spanish textbook. Pocket money sheet to be cut up into cards - students have to put them together to make sentences (you may want to make these a big bigger) On PowerPoint: Conditional - si tuviera más dinero compraría... Adivinad las frases - choose a word from each speech bubble, students have to guess, if they get first one wrong, the next person goes and starts from the beginning, if they get it right they can try and guess the next one - good speaking activity Hope it's useful

PowerPoint to introduce countries/cities and transport vocabulary. Students are in charge of filling in their vocabulary grid - they will need this for the translations.... I asked my students to pick any five sentences to be translated - could be 3 easy or 2 difficult - whatever they like. Plus an extension if they get that far.

Guess the TV Programmes

Students have to guess the TV programmes. I found out what the Spanish call each of the programmes instead of translating them directly so you will need to explain this to the students. I used this as a starter with my Y10s and it seemed to go down well! Hope it's useful Dannielle
