Reading assessment given to my Y7s after holiday topic. Most vocab from Metro 1. Questions get more difficult as you go through.

The same text twice with different words missing from each. Students read the text to their partner until they have two completed texts, then could translate into English. Used with my Y8 Spanish. Vocab from Listos 2.

A few Smartboard activities to revise the perfect tense. Good for getting the whole class involved. Split class into two groups. The avoir page with the sweet on - I used sweets to explain avoir and each student had to say j'ai un bonbon, tu as un bonbon, il/elle (depending on their neighbour) a un bonbon.

Resources used with Y7 Spanish for their Storytelling project. Powerpoint tutorials to teach vocabulary for fruits and animals in La Sorpresa de Nandi (Handa's Surprise). Sheets with images of animals and fruits to be cut up.
