This is a fully differentiated, thirteen-slide lesson building skills for functional skills level one and two. The lesson uses the topic of Halloween to develop a deeper understanding of the new exam format. There are many opportunities for AFL and there are both reading and writing tasks to practice and build confidence within English.
I put together this A3 sheet to help my students plan and write question five of paper 2 Writer’s viewpoints and Perspectives. I have tried to break it down to make planning easy, and included a punctuation task to help improve in this area.
